Air springs have been unsuccessfully tried since 1977. Others have tried air including the off road industry only to abandon it. It simply does not compress or rebound well. If you increase pressure to prevent bottoming you loose the compliance to small bumps. If you decrease pressure for small bump pick up it bottoms out....hard. Air shocks are not for performance, but rather for simplicity and reduced expense. It’s a proven fact that a gas charged shock with a coil over spring is the way to go.

The T6061 aircraft aluminum billet machined shock absorbers feature 3-stage pressure sensitive, self adjusting compression valving with a 2 stage rebound system. The system allows for great pick up of changes in the road surface. Nitrogen charged for stable operation and coil over springs for a better ride. The street series also comes with hand adjustable spring preload and an external clicker adjuster for extra tunability. This is positively the best aftermarket available
