David Girard is a highly skilled and motivated individual with over thirty years of experience as the proprietor of Girard Custom Carpentry. His high standards of business conduct, customer focus, sensitivity to artistic and architectural styles, cost consciousness and training enable him to effectively manage almost any project requested of him by customers.

David’s beginning years of family apprenticeship have been followed by many years of fine craftsmanship. Since 1979, not only has David perfected his trade by collaborating with family and friends, but he has also enriched himself through professional workshops and participation in guilds. Several awards have affirmed his expertise in custom carpentry.

David has participated in the Lathe Workshop at the House of Woodturning, in Putney, VT. He has earned a certificate for asbestos abatement, as well as a certificate for creating energy crafted homes. David is a member of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers. In 1996, he was the recipient of the National Visual Arts Award in Modern Liturgy for the baptismal font he built for Ste. Marie Parish in Manchester, NH.
