David Girard is renowned across New Hampshire for his fine work in Catholic churches throughout the Diocese. His reputation precedes him as a detail-oriented, respectful, cost-conscious craftsman eager to preserve the natural beauty and historical integrity of places of worship. From sacred oil ambries, to full immersion baptismal fonts, tabernacles, altars, ambos, processional crosses and renovations of worship spaces, David’s highest priority is that his pieces are tasteful and fit into the decor of a church. For example, in his baptismal font at Ste. Marie Parish, seen below, he incorporated the vintage removed altar rail from the church into the design of the font. The font was completed in 1995, and its tasteful design allowed for perfect assimilation into the century year old church.
